Krystal Jo's Diner

There's nothing quite like getting the experience of a friendly, small town diner in a large, bustling city. The folks over at Krystal Jo are honestly the total package. They have friendly, hospitable service, as to where it seems like there will know your name before you leave, their restaurants is quaint and clean, and the menu is modest, but all cooked to absolute perfection. They've got all of your classic, traditional American foods here from Burgers to a plethora of omelets, and they're all delicious. We strongly recommend the burgers or the corned beef hash.

Cafe Rhema

Flint has many answers to this need, but none are as classy or as remarkable as Cafe Rhema in Downtown Flint. It is a perfect spot for studying, relaxing, or getting together for a business meeting. Every single thing on their menu is made with remarkably fresh ingredients. It's hard to go wrong when ordering from Cafe Rhema. Whether you want their coffee, bubble tea, smoothies, or their famous Rhema Club, you are sure to leave satisfied!

Soggy Bottom Bar

Sometimes you need to get together with some friends and kick back with a beer and a burger, and if you go around and ask anyone in Flint, just about all of them will tell you that the best place to do t his is the Soggy Bottom Bar on MLK. They have a remarkable atmosphere in Soggy Bottom Bar that is truly unlike any other, and the music that they play is always on point. There's always cool people hanging out on both sides of the bar, and their beer selection is fantastic. You won't be disappointed with their food either -- their burgers are HUGE!

Pesto's

If you're looking for a delicious place to bring someone on a fancy date, or even just a fine family dinner, then Pesto's might be exactly what you're looking for. An excellent Italian restaurant that prides itself on its eclectic food and atmosphere, Pesto's has been a staple in Flint dining life since the mid 90's. They have all sorts of delicious pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, salads, and homemade soups. Their service is expedient and very attentive. You will never feel like you've been forgotten about by these fantastic workers. We recommend the Shrimp, Crawfish, & Sausage Gumbo as well as the Blackened Chicken Alfredo.

MaMang

Proudly treating the citizens of Flint and the goers of the Flint Farmer's Market to delicious Vietnamese cuisine and Taiwanese treats, MaMang is really hard to beat. They really set the bar for what it means to be a food vendor in the Flint area, with their absolutely remarkable pho dishes. They might have a limited menu, but that is completely okay because what they do serve is absolutely perfect. They are a beloved new addition to the city, and you should see why for yourself!
