While you are there, you are sure to work up an appetite. Here are some of our favorite places to grab a bite to eat or a drink in Lansing.

EagleMonk Pub & Brewery

EagleMonk is truly the best of all worlds. It is a family friendly microbrewery and winery and they craft perfect beer, wine, soda, and pizza. You can bring the whole family to this awesome establishment, which has one of the most delicious menus, both food and menu-wise that we have ever had the pleasure of trying. For a very reasonable price you can buy a growler, so you can fill up on a fair amount of the beer, and keep coming back. You absolutely must try their Pesto Chicken Pizza. We don't understand how they make their dough that great, but you must see for yourself.

The Cosmos Wood-Fired Pizza

The Cosmos is one of the coolest places in all of Lansing. From the very beginning, you'll be astounded at their remarkable interior with classic comic book covers and movie posters everyone the eye can see, to create a quirky and cool atmosphere. They have every kind of pizza that you could possibly want to eat, and each and every one is unique and incredible. From the classic pepperoni to the Rock Shrimp, to some more unique additions like the Roasted Pumpkin and our personal favorite, the Runny Egg pizza pie. Well, other than the "Trust Us" pie, which we can't tell you what's on it. You just have to try it for yourself!

Good Truckin' Diner

Just because you're in one of the biggest cities in Michigan doesn't mean you can't get an awesome small town diner experience. This is made clear with Good Truckin' Diner which offers an unmistakable atmosphere from a place you'd expect Up North. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly and they know exactly what they're doing. Everything on the menu, from their breakfast items to their burgers is unbelievable. If you make it in we strongly suggest the Bourbon Street French Toast, or if you're there during lunch or dinner then you can't go wrong with one of their delicious craft burgers -- we recommend the Miami Vice which has grilled pineapple, jerk sauce, and habanero relish, or the Sgt Pepper which has a blackened patty, poblano aioli, jalapeno cream cheese & habanero relish. Yum!
